ABOUT US:
CENTRE FOR EUROPEAN ECONOMY has been established by the Decision No. EN-151№ of the meeting of the Scientific Council of Azerbaijan State University of Economics dated April 28, 2017 and the order of the Rector of UNEC No. 319/3/2017.
According to the order of the rector of UNEC dated 271/3/2019, the management of the center on a public basis was entrusted to Elkhan Richard Sadik-Zada, a German citizen, PhD in International Development Studies of Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany.
OUR GOAL:
To conduct scientific research in economic and social sciences, to share the problems, proposals and recommendations arising from the research with the scientific environment, society, public and private sector organizations in one form or another; to encourage research and make suggestions for solving problems in this area; to act in other directions determined by the legislation.
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
To carry out scientific research works and projects;
To organize international and national conferences, symposiums, seminars, round tables, trainings;
To prepare and publish publications in different languages;
To prepare reports, brochures, research papers, articles, bulletins, books, etc;
To cooperate with research centers, institutes, universities and private sector representatives located in the country and abroad;
To ensure that incoming appeals and inquiries on areas of activity are considered in accordance with the legislation;
To ensure the implementation of the development concept of the university within its competence;
To prepare reports on the work plan and activities of the Center;
To ensure the protection of service information by the Center in accordance with the legislation in the course of its activities;
To perform other duties provided by the legislation in accordance with the directions of activity;
